Very nice, D. When I first looked at this, I wondered to myself, "Are there 8 couplets?" In other words, suspected you just took your usual 4 quatrains and broke them up into 8 couplets - but you foiled my scheme with a 9th couplet.

I wrote this deliberately as couplets the odd number was purely by accident I usually write in Quatrains as you know by now so it was just something different
