Good poem to tell of the love between you, and your soul mate. Good word flow, and rhyming make it very good. A great expression of love told here. I feel the same about my wife, we will be married 50 years next Dec. 23rd.

    Thankyou so much G glad you liked it I just reworked the second line for meter I think it reads better now for flow itwas the only line that bugged me lol

-I think this is a very good Valentine's poem, dip.
-Romantic verses that show how important she is to you:
* "together as one, you're my only bride"
* "My mate, my lover, my partner for life
There'll never be another, my beautiful wife"
-I think she would be very happy to get this poem.

It seems like an excellent Valentine's poem to me, dip
but it is always best to ask the ladies
after all, what do guys know? (lol)
I'm not sure about including the couplet
"and if you go before I do" in a Valentine's poem
but I'll leave to the ladies, as well

    Well it wasn't originally written as a valentines poem actually more just an appreciation poem for all the years she has put up with me (40) lol
    But so many reviewers had said valentines day I changed my Author's notes to reflect that

Of course it would make a nice valentine's poem. How lucky you are to have such a wonderful relationship.

I'm sure your wife would be touched by your words and in particular:

you're my only bride
there'll never be another

Unless, of course, she'd want you to remarry.

I don't know about a valentine, but it might save you after forgetting a birthday or anniversary. I think I'd work on the meter some, this is excellent stuff.

    Hehe You know i have reworked and read this poem aloud so many times and if read aloud once establishing the beat of the poem the meter reads fine.
    I am not much of a meter maid stickler but i do write from the heart

I love this poem Dr. Dip. A poem right from your heart, and a tribute to your wife, I like that!! This is very special, for how many people can say they're maried with their soulmate? Very few, I guess. It would be a great valentines poem with nice rhyme and wonderful thoughts. Well done!! Fia
