What a wonderful tribute to God and His Sovereign rein and love for his children, no matter what. I particularly took to heart the following line...
"Without your love I'd never make it through"
So true and so glad I am aware of that fact.
Also, regarding your line...
"Thank you God for helping me understand why."
To me it is a jewel not to be underrated. I say this because I so for such a long wondered about the correlation between the word WISDOM and the word UNDERSTANDING. In fact, I received the answer just recently and so grateful. I will tell you what I learned....
God says to SEEK WISDOM ABOVE ALL Then I was in a quandary as to the meaning of the word UNDERSTANDING, and I finally received the answer after a long time tryig to figure it out with my brain.
The explanation I got was that WISDOM IS UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS WRITTEN IN GOD'S WORD.
It may sound simple to you and others on the site but to me it was really troubling that I could not figure out the difference.
I hope everyone who reads your post has this understanding of Wisdom too, unless they already have it...lol,...

The best thing about poetry is that there are so many forms and styles that us novices never know if it's right or wrong, or if it's written exactly how the poet meant for it to read. Great job. :-)
