I agree with what you say Patricia. This man might be a lot of things but SO were plenty that have sat in the same seat before him. Some of them EVEN dared continue with things once they were in power. Hello Mr. Clinton.
So with that out of the way, I applaud Trump for NOT speaking like a politician and quite honestly, I think for wanting a better America. I can't see that a man of his wealth, stature and power would be taking on a role like this if he didn't think he could do something better for his country. He likes success. The fact is, he is now IN and the country needs to deal with it. I think if he runs the country like he runs business, the USA might have a chance to get back in the black. Anyway, we in Australia will be watching with interest as it DOES effect us. Not all decisions he makes we will agree on, but I have a feeling he is going to do a much better job (and faster LOL) than some of his predecessors. Just my thoughts anyway.

Thanks for your review. Our government was not set up to be led by slick lawyers and career politicians. I really wish the people would throw out those who use the positions they hold as a way to retire on a gravy train and be known. I would rather be a nobody here on this earth, and be know as a good and faithful servant in Heaven.

I, like you, think it is time for all of this to stop and allow our elected officials to go about the business of restoring the rights and dignity of ALL Americans as their mandate has been made clear by "we the people". I am sure he will make mistakes, but we all do. We can only pray that he is guided and can overcome the obstacles currently being thrown in his path. Trump is the president, and they will have to accept that. We have to be able to get along. I have my reservations about Trump. How can a man who boasts about his billions really and truly understand ordinary citizens? He's appointed none but wealthy people, predominantly males, to his cabinet. Since assuming office, he has made comments about other individuals that make him seem petty. Maybe he'll grow in office. I certainly hope so for the good of the country. judi

They want what they want when they want it, The rioting was awful. Everyone one of them should be in jail until they pay for the damages they caused. Our country has become a me,, bunch of whiny babies with no work ethic, belief in God, or desire to make progress. It is always easy to blame someone else for one's lack of integrity.

They want what they want when they want it, The rioting was awful. Everyone one of them should be in jail until they pay for the damages they caused. I saw a video of him saying rude, vulgar, and totally unacceptable things about some women who were walking down the street. He made inappropriate comments about their 'tits' and sad if he could get one to kiss him, it was a given they would let them grab their 'pussy.' This was on video tape, not just someone complaining about something they 'heard' him say. This is NOT a man I feel comfortable about running our country. I am more than willing to give him a chance, but he has to do something about his vulgar and low opinion of women, minorities, and people with disabilities. It matters little to me that he placed his hand on the Bible his mother gave him. I would feel more confident if I actually saw him read it.

Sasha, I well understand your feeling uncomfortable with the man in light of what he said and did in the past. It is my hope that he may have made changes in in thinking and he deserves the opportunity to show evidence that he has learned to guard his words.
