This is a delightful piece of poetry dear Janet! I love the seasonal change. And I applaud your ingenuity of how the day turns upside down. Nice one my friend!
Thanks for sharing!

You captured the essence of one of natures wonders and a polar storm though traitorous, can have beauty like no other storm. There is nothing quite like waking up to a sunny day all covered with white and hearing how quiet the world can be for a few moments. The flow was great and the rhyming terrific.

I absolutely adored reading this aloud! Such eloquence and fine cadence with lovely, masterfully woven phonetics, especially the first stanza (love the rhyming too) and the bouncy second stanza as well.

Such fluid flow. Yum!

A perfect closing note, too:

Bright sparkling flakes of diamond dust
all painted by the Master's hand.

Love the AHA of spirituality in the closing line.

Delightful work--and nit free. Lovely presentation as well.

Captures a mood and has fine imagery. Six stars!

Love,
rd

Thank you rd for this most encouraging review and those special sixs! I always look forward to your reviews.

When I was ready to post this one, I actually read it again and said to myself, now what would rd change or improve? Then, I added some punctuation. I am delighted with your encouragement.

    Thank you again my friend.

A winter wonderland crafted by the Master but beautifully described with your words. Your poetry painted a lovely scene that drew us into a storm, but gave us a view after the storm as well. I enjoyed it.

Excellent Poem! The author's word flow and connect well. The words are
descriptive, spiritual and thought provoking. The artwork is perfect as it
compliments the theme and words of this poem.

The poem depicts a ponderous sight and follows the snowstorm from beginning to the end.the words used paint the scene and in the end described as nature's best Toby the hands of God. Excellent.

This is a very well written poem about "Old Man Winter." You describe the scenes with perfect rhyming, but I must admit, just looking at that picture gave me cold-chills. We have been having a very mild winter here, so far...Take care. Bill

Our winter has been relatively mild here in NC as well but I visited northwest PA recently and they have been buried more than once in the fluffy white stuff. haha

A wonderful picturesque poem of a blizzard and the startling results. New fallen snow is about as beautiful as anything else in nature. It's very interesting because it has so much character without consideration of color. Perhaps we humans should remember this in all seasons. Thanks for a great write

This is beautifully penned. Your use of imagery was so well executed I actually got chills here LOL. I could not help but thinking that God has a sense of humor as He paints the earth's canvas so stunningly in the winter BUT inviting though it might be we are much better off inside where it is warm. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Writer illustrates great talents in this write, deep thought-provoking views that grip the heart, statements endearing with promise. My suggestion for improvement of the work is cutting of its fat. For example: Like giant bears of snowy white unto Like snowy white giant bears. I thought more precise aiding this write flow.
