A very well-written poem. I have the habit to rub my finger tips when I don't know what to write about. After a while, I start typing and I have not much control about what the fingers type. Lol.

LOL - you know, this amusing poem puts me in mind of the advertisement for the Yellow Pages phone book - "Let your Fingers Do The Walking" - only it's much cuter than that slogan.

Comment from Gloria ....
You know it, dip! Words hold incredible power which is why I have my dictionary open all.the.time. and use if at least 20 times a day, even words I think I know. HAHA.
It was a little different with just the one finger, but I pictured a hunt and peck two finger typist, so it all worked out in the end.
Excellente!!

LOL! So you are a 'biblical typist' as your finger uses the 'seek and ye shall find' method on the keyboard. This is delightful and thank you very much for sharing it.

Yes, sometimes the fingers do the thinking. It is like automatic writing. You do not know where your fingers will take you. You wrote a fond and creative homage to this practice. It shows love of writing and a passion for it.
"If ever I am feeling down
My finger uplifts my soul
Never really lets me frown
Always there to console"
Yes, writing sustains you. It is also why you are so prodigious! : )
Thank you for sharing and for celebrating.

Sometimes it's best to let our fingers to the talking indeed.
The rhymes were terrific and the pace well set.
You gave us a clear and precise picture of your thoughts.
Easy to understand.
Excellent writing!
