A very well-written piece. Only time will ease the pain. Most of us have suffered a loss of parents, children or loved ones. Words never make it any easier but the thought of others reaching out to offer condolences and prayers make us feel a little less lonely in times of great sorrow.

Thank you for your support and kindness. God places people in our lives for a reason, I am blessed that God showed me favor and placed this remarkable young man with a very kind soul in my life during this difficult time. Blessings...Portia

I haven't been forced to cross the bridge of losing a parent, so I can't even begin to imagine how much you must miss your dear mom.
I did read Roy's poem. I'm glad to know it at least gave you some comfort.
The true comfort will one day come when you and your mother will be reunited once again, along with any and all of the other family members you might have lost along the way.
May God grant you and your family the peace to overcome your grief.

You have a very special place in my heart, you were one of the first I told of my loss. Your prayers, love and kindness touched my heart day one. You have always shown me nothing but kindness and support and I will always be grateful for who you are and your friendship. Please continue to pray for my strength.
