A very well-written haiku. The colourful fish in the dark ocean become the rainbow in the deepest places where the sun are unable to reach.

IndianaIrish - this is a really lovely haiku with a gorgeous picture. Your lines one and two interconnect perfectly and your line three, using good metaphor, is an excellent satori. Lovely work. Warm regards Dorothy x

Beautiful. I like the progress from the focus on colors (colors we have yet to see?) and then the second line takes us into the ocean depths where there is no light which is required to see color. The final line that presents us with a puzzle of a "rainbow" created with the light.

Very well done. I am not partial to Haiku, but it can be artistic at times. I usually expect a "seasonal" reference for the kigo, but a "natural" one is also common. The Satori reminded me of a line from one of my poems. It reflects on God placing color in the darkest places.

Wow that is a beautiful picture. This just shows the awesome beauty of almighty God. So many different colors just make me thankful for such beauty. Good words to tell about it.

in darkest depths, their colors astound. . .I read somewhere that koi
are endangered because their ostentatious colors attract predators.
Perhaps these fathoms deep fishes are laughing with delight at their
freedom to wear rainbow fashions with exemption! :-)
Nicely done Indiana :-)
