I am not sure whether to review the poem, with the two groansome puns in in the satori, or the notes and video. Two puns? I thought so. There's the gill-ty of course but what about the con in conscience?
A very clever video but those teeth? They resemble the mouthpiece of the angler fish (also shown in the video).
We haven't had Valentine's day yet and you are rehearsing for April Fools Day... Aren't you?

I made someone smile.

Wow, this has to be the ugliest shark I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing another fun and entertaining poem and picture combination. I don't think that in all the years I've ever said anything negative to you, and I'm still not saying anything negative about your submission, but the damn music was so loud that I couldn't hear what the chic on the video was saying about the shark. :-)

Oh, that, LOL.
Yeah, it's best if you wait unti the JAWS theme is over to listen to the video.
Maybe I'll jst get rid of the themed from JAWS altogether, whaddaya think?
Yes, I'll do that...
Thanks for reading, Ric, and for the feedback as well.
Much obliged.
~Dean :)

No, don't get rid of the theme, it's a great addition. It just keeps seemingly getting louder and louder right when the explanations are coming. Maybe softening it after a short crescendo, so the reader can enjoy the poem and the video. :-)

Unfortunately there's no way to regulate the sound, Ric.
I'll see what I can do...

Hi Dean,
You sure wrote a nice poem about the horrible looking Goblin Shark and also explained all about it for people like me.
I enjoyed reading it I'm very pleased that you told everything about this type of shark.
I've never heard about it before or have seen a picture of it before.
Thanks my friend, Kat

This reminds me of when my son and I watch ocean's monsters. Their were some ugly and scracy fishes that live deep within the ocean. I haven't seen this one.

O.M.G what an ugly beast. I don't like any
kind of shark. My youngest son went down
in a cage twice in Cape Town to watch the
sharks - told me AFTER the event of cours.e
gill-ty - very clever, Dean - you're on top form.

More importantly, I believe the Sharknado! movies classify sharks as fish, so...issue settled as far as I'm concerned. And, as far as I'm concerned this is another typical Dean classic.
Alliteration? - check
Pun? -check
Great graphics? - check
Horror? - check and mate.
Well done.

Another one-of-a-kind poem that brings surprising information forward and translates it into a fun haiku. I have never heard of this thing and never want to see one up close.
