All sharks are scary when too close
They like too much to make a noise
Still when swimming in the sea
Some sharks were friendly to me
Still a fish is fine to say
For they are of the sea
Living all thew ways of fish
While still a little scary when hit

A very interesting shark. Living down deep I doubt if he would ever pose a threat to anyone. A well- written Haiku club challenge poem. With a very interesting subject.

Dean - a perfect haiku with lines one and two interconnecting perfectly and line three a good satori - and cleverly amusing. OMG though, what a grotesque fish. Harmless to humans H'm. Thank goodness it's down deep. Imagine coming face to face with that. Well done with loads of author info. Thanks for the read. Warm regards Dorothy

I think this is a good one, my friend. Strong clear imagery in the first two connection lines. A good satori that serves as an aha moment and has a fun play on words. You overall presentation was great - that video was fascinating

I love goblin sharks!! My sister and brother, also my niece, who is studying to be a biologist, love sharks so we are always taking about them. Loved the picture and the clever haiku with the most amusing and well written satori. I had to read it twice, then I had a good laugh. Also appreciate the trip down memory lane with ole Quint. Very entertaining.

Good morning, Dean
Enjoyed the bit of humor in the last line. I've seen several pictures of a goblin shark and every time I do I still can't believe it's real.
Take care and stay safe,
Ray

Boy, this is one ugly and scary creature. Wouldn't want to meet up with him when out for a swim. Good alliteration. Guilty conscience tells it all.
