An excellent response to this 'picture this' prompt Teri! The words ring with compassion and sadness, the words are articulate and expressive, smoothly delivered, with aabb rhymed quatrains, you've interpreted the artwork well My friend, blessings, Roy

With this poem, Stone Woman, you have used the symbol of a statue to represent someone beaten down by life and who has become closed away to the world. Using this as an opportunity to speak of the Redeamer is clever and understandable. I read into the last line, that this moment outweighs any more need to rhyme.

That's absolutely awesome, and it shows in each poem that you write. This poem about the stone woman went together with the picture perfectly, making for an excellent presentation.

What an uplifting resolution to this picture you have penned!

Noting her predicament, and feeling deep sorrow for her aloneness,
you heard the voice of God telling you it was simply his word she
needed to be healed and whole again. :-)
