I find this article shows Trump knew he was going to win the election regardless of who voted for who. A Trump hotel that opens down the street only weeks before his inauguration? C'mon! Knowing he didn't have to disclose his business affairs and taxes had to be key to getting him in. Otherwise, why bother being President when he could just buy one. Using Bill O'Reilly as a source of ethics or 'facts' seems comical.

Any President can own and run as many businesses as he desires to while he is President.
If I was in that capacity myself there is no doubt I would.
Don't be surprised if The Donald's economic decisions don't end up benefitting his businesses.

American public cares about his business dealings. What they are more interested in is what he will do for them as the President. A valid point not to be taken lightly. (This is true)
I'm not sure The Donald should continue Tweeting. He has a habit of sticking his foot in his mouth. Much of what he has said in the past, present and future is taken out of context. Most politicians suffer from this, but he is getting it hard, probably because he is not a politician. Me personally could care less about his businesses, I too want some change in the way this country has been run. Peoples salary's are less today than they were twenty years ago for the same exact job. Ridiculous. Rent is higher, fuel is higher, food is higher, everything is way higher except pay.
Ah ha, my freind, you got me ranting.

This is a very good write. You've brought up some important points and questions. Unfair, untrue and biased reporting of conservative points of view is the exact reason why Trump tweets. He is bypassing the press/media and going straight to the people. Ethics-wise, whatever is allowed under the law is okay in my opinion. There has been too much secretive and underhanded shenanigans going on for too long and that's why the dreaded word "transparency" is so important. Marilyn

This is very interesting what you have penned. I guess I get so sick of the media and others that love to stir up things. I am not impressed with him or anything about his money. Who knows how he will do as the American president. I pray he will follow God and treat us Americans well. Blessings, Teri

The media are holding Donald Trump to a standard that in some cases is nothing more than gossip. Why? I think it is because they see him as a man of character and want nothing more than to bring the man down. I saw a story this morning, claiming that Trumps vocabulary is no higher than that of a sixth grade student, That i think he is trying to reach the masses who have been dumbed down by the media and the schools in our nation. Just some of my thoughts. Patricia

I feel I am going to be one of the followers that will get the most out of your fantastic breakfast reads as I am one that does not understand the workings of the government and use the newspaper to get my updates...wrong idea

Newspapers are okay....some times.
The thing to remember about them is that the standards for the media are about non-existent.
This can be harmful to a reader's ability to fairly evaluate information.
