Thank you for your continued support, and for grasping the deeper, hidden meanings in between the lines. I really appreciate your perspective.

LOL - okay, I stand corrected. . .there are 8!
This one is my second favorite. I love the satori line
trailing trade winds home
in conjunction with the first line of the imagery portion
in one of my lives
it speaks to the many and varied journeys we take as
we travel through our existence :-)
nicely done :-)

Maybe too deep for a majority of FS readers, who do not wish to contemplate anything beyond their present, mundane existence. Far Seers are few and far between, mostly maligned and misunderstood in their lifetimes. For some reason, Poets are notoriously celebrated only after their demise. perhaps it is only then that the critics can have their heyday with no redemption?

Hey I really appreciate your writing! You really lay it out there, risking the criticism of short thinking, limited existence readers. I am short on time, long on years, of medium sage advice, but this I know: "Keep on writing!"

Although out of focus it is the perfect picture for your words Badger. I always wondered what it would be like to be a bird in flight it would be good to have two lives and make one as a bird just to experience the joy of flight

Beautifully written haiku. I think you have captured the spirit and feeling that is meant to be written as a haiku. I think all of us have a different idea of what poetry is. To me, it is to capture the essence and feeling of what we are writing about.

A Wonderful example of a well-done air challenge haiku. You utilized the wind in a proper manner. In combination with bird, wind is a clear kigo.

Nicely written haiku on birds. I liked this one as much as I liked your hummingbird haiku. Both excellently executed! Blessings, AJ
