There is no argument that Clinton was too dirty to be allowed in the office. I don't think the Republican Party had anyone who could have opposed her though, and the choice of Trump, the voice of the people who like saying nigger, queer, and split-tail proved to win a battle between two terrible candidates.

However, the right candidate ended up being elected.
The other choice was a criminal who should already be in prison for a lengthy period of time.
Remember certain emails and the Banghazi Affair that costs American lives?

Brett, This is very interesting what you have written. It was hard to think of either of them being president of America. All I can say about Trump is he is in my prayers. If America falls we all tend to fall. It is going to take a lot of prayers and us being sincere before God. Blessings, Teri

Thanks for taking the time to read my posting and to write a review.
Prayer may be the only answer the US has left.

I don't know, of course, whether you voted for the Donald or not--but your well-written piece is partly right. I think you are missing the big picture.
This election was seen as our last chance to save our country from globalization and third-worldism, as well as to end the pompous agenda to achieve total control over what we could say, eat, drink, think, earn, learn, drive, breathe, save, own, like, dislike, etc.
Luckily astute voters know when they are being lied to, flim-flammed. Trump is seen as a person who will finally put US/U.S. citizens first, to stop our own government from steamrolling over us. And that-my dear- is why Clinton lost the election. Marilyn

Thanks for taking the time to read my Editorial and to write a review.
While Clinton lost for a variety of reasons, the bottom line was most Americans simply did not trust her.

And well they should not. More than that--citizens felt this was the last ditch effort to get our country back on track. Policies and continuing Obama's agenda are/were the real problem and don't forget the balance of the power in the Supreme court, as well as legislation from the bench which will/would change our country for the next generation and perhaps forever. The crux of the matter is that liberals have decided for themselves what the rank-and-file citizen wants. They still have no clue and will continue to slash and burn the country down rather than admit their arrogance.

It is sad and alarming that these two clowns were the nominees inn a nation as gifted as the US. When it came too privacy in the voting both, many choose the lesser of two evils. We'll have to see how it plays out.
I personally want whoever is elected to do well as president.
I don't understand the lack of respect in this transition of the office. Disheartening.
Nice work on the facts presentation and assessment in this piece.

Excellent commentary. The Democratic party's powers that be were so sure it was Hillary Clinton's time. Perhaps they should have put forward a younger, less-scandal-ridden candidate. I agree with your assessment of why she lost. Had she won, at least we would have been spared the circus sideshow we'll be treated to for the next four years. She would have "acted presidential." Much excellent supporting data in your article, especially about Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Donna Brazile. Great work. judi

You're welcome. The Democratic party continues to believe the same--and more of it--will work for them. judi

A very well-written editorial. As an outsider, I think President Trump will proof himself as the best President to run the country. Personally I would not include him in my inner friend circle.

I truly believe that America felt like they chose the lesser of two evils. It's not so much that we wanted Trump as much as we didn't want Hillary.
You made valid points and stated your position well.
An enjoyable read.
