Judy, you're doing well on building up your story. I liked hearing that
she was able to talk to her husband and he at least knew that she
was alive. Too bad about her very best friend, though.

thank you , jude. I lost my very best friend last year and I know how hard it is. I miss her so much. That is why I wanted her in the story.

For fiction, you tell a realistic story, Judy. I loved how the women were giggling at their sneakiness. It was hard to tell Doug about Krissie, and now he has to decide whether or not to tell his mate, so sad. Well done again! :) ~Sandra xxx

Another interesting chapter and seemed down-to-earth and true.
A few corrections if I may:
-1st paragraph-Smiling is repeated twice close together, wonder if another way of saying or perhaps, "Still smiling", on the second-just a suggestion
-Stay at home Moms, I believe should be (stay-at-home)
-wake me and ask me to (mover)-did you mean (move over?)
-Believe it or not(,) just....

The story continues to move right along. This chapter takes up where the other one left off and flows from beginning to end. The added detail like finding things you left in your car and the phone call along with your realistic characters brought the story to life for me as I read it.

Love the part about the case of beer! LOL! Glad the families of the main characters are okay. Others were not so lucky. Another good chapter. Believable, too, as if this really happened. But thank God it did not.

I'm glad she finally got to talk to Doug and learned the children and dogs are ok. As bad as the earthquake was you depict a realistic vision of people working together to survive. Keep at it.

You know, if I ever have to be in a survival situation, I'd want you to be there with me. Only you could find the good in a situation like that.
