Teri,
I will admit to you that my prayer life is lacking. There was a time when it was great, but I have let is slide and I need to do so much better. Thanks for your example and for reminding me to improve! Hugs to you!

Your strong faith shines through in this beautiful work. It conveys your confidence in His presence, in His love for you, and in His promises for your eternal future. Good rhyming and very well written. Perfect picture choice to accompany your faith filled words. A pleasure to read! Sue P. :)

What a wonderfully written poem that honors both your relationship to God and God Himself who never fails to meet us where we are. Beautiful. Blessings, AmyJo

Such a lovely description here of the prayerful atmosphere one finds in church, especially in the company of others performing their devotions. I had one little niggle, and that was "not nary a sound", which is a double negative.

Thank you so much. I will put it this way -- when He is ready for me I will be ready for that day! Until then I will enjoy my life here! Blessings, Teri

I like the spirit of this poem. It expresses such faith. There are a couple of issues like"not nary a sound". This is a double negative. It should read either (with nary a sound) or (without a sound). Thank you for sharing your work.

Thank you for this. I was wondering how to improve my prayer life and so I really appreciate your describing your prayer time in verse. You seem to have such a closeness to the Lord in how you seek His presence and let His love "envelop you."

I counting the days till spring, sort of wishing my life away, I guess. But when the nights are around zero and the daytime highs are in the teens, it's not fit for man nor beast. Of course, I'm still thankful for every day, I just don't go outside unless I have to or stay longer than I have to. LOL! God bless! :-)
