Beautifully said! Wish I had another six stars to give. Your words moved me. The description of his lovely wife and how the joy of life left her eyes is very true for those who lost the battle. And all the loved ones do wonder why? I think you want the word "complemented" instead of "complimented" but you can decide after reviewing definitions.

Thank you. Yep, I think you are right and I will edit and change the word. Easy to slip like that sometimes. Thanks for the catch.

This two-hundred word story,My Must Love Die,wrings the tears out from readers who know exactly what those feelings and that scenes are like. A short story with a huge backstory.

Thank you. My bother's wife died of ovarian cancer when she was only 59. It was so sad and where this story came from.

A well-written contest entry. Your words flowed well from beginning to end and told the sad story very realistically. Good luck in the contest I think you have done well completing the challenge .

So beautiful and yet so sad, I could see through your words the changes that occurred through the progression of this horrible disease and feel her own pain and the pain of him who lost the love of his life . Heart tugging expression

Beautiful heartfelt story. I liked how you described the dying character and her transformation from health to death, along with her husband's hand holding and finally the only question to ask, Why? Good luck in the contest.

Thank you. It's hard to get everything in so short a story but I enjoy the challenge
