The child learns what he/she sees. When encouraged and supported they follow the lead to achieve great things in life. It is a beautiful example of unselfish love for the child you cherish in your life. Very well written and coordinated. Blessings, Ella

Oh my gosh, how cute!! Does she belong to you?

Now on to the poem - perfect minute syllable count and meter and rhyme.

Good luck in the contest.

Many thanks for your review of Making Music, Teresa. Much appreciated. Teagan is my grandchild in New York. We don't get to see her often unfortunately but are sent many pictures to help keep us in touch with her development. All the best, Tony

Super photo. For now, earplugs a must for the adults? Great little poem, I hope she continues to become adept at the keys. A Baby Grand was a nice touch for your minute poem. Best wishes for the contest! Happy New Year! XX

That's a nice photograph and an even better picture. You sure are a proud grandpa. Also, you stayed in poetic form. It didn't seem forced which can be very difficult with the repeated syllable count restrictions. Nice work. Good notes. Good luck in the contest.

I do not know the form..but I like the subject...baby learns
to play piano....She is starring
in her own vignettes...dragon pepper sauce...doggy paws
and now piano...and her face goes out to the world at such a young age! very nice...

I'm enjoying your terrific poetry written for/about Teagan. I'm assuming this is her. She's adorable. You will have lots of material to write and save for her as she grows. This is a very nice minute poem that I enjoyed reading. Marilyn

Hi Tony. You're welcome. I think this feeding frenzy of the rankings has everyone in a dither and behind in reading, reviewing and responding. Hopefully things will settle down soon. :) Marilyn

Wow! This is nice! I love the positivity in your words and the hope you give.
A baby grand is kind of a metaphor. A grand baby and the baby grand piano show will one day play. Nice job! Drew

Sorry I've taken so long to get to your review of Making Music last week, Karyn. I've been a bit overwhelmed in this first week of the ratings! Thank you for it anyway. Teagan's dad is an IT expert, so it's difficult to predict which way she might turn! Hopefully she'll choose her own path and gain fulfilment from it. Tony

No doubt you have a future concert pianist there. She certainly looks enthralled by those keys that make such sweet sounds. A good encouragement to make a child love music, but that's almost a given isn't it. LOL Well done Tony. NAncy

A very well-written minute poem. I start my pianoing career with a little baby grand it was a black mini replica of the real piano.
