A well-written second part of the story. The words flowed well and picked up easily from the last part. The story is very realistic and details and realistic characters flowed and combines bringing the story to life.

Having lost my own husband on the 7th December back in 1986, I can feel her pain. My husband was only 46. I will read this with a lot of interest to see how she copes now. I had two young children to raise, so the story is quite similar at this point to my own life. Excellent writing, and very believably written. :) Sandra

I'm so sorry for your loss, Sandra. It must be terrible to lose one's husband.

As a POV this is excellently written and so full of pure emotion and the descriptions make it so very real. The interaction is what one would expect from the players. Very good

Ooohh... great cliff hanger, MJ. Great job with this one. One thing I love about your writing is the way you can crawl into characters and truly make them your own. You are great at prose. Really good. Thanks!

Maria, this is a wonderful story and a pleasure for me to read. There is grief, pain and sorrow, but there is hope here as well. Thank you so much for this write and sharing it with us. In reading it I was taken back 21+ years ago, to the death of my dear husband. He was not tragically killed in an accident, but from serious health problems. I experienced many of the same emotions that Heather had at the graveside. Happy New Year. Patricia

Sometimes we get so busy and buried with our own stuff we seem to rate more precious than our loved ones that we abandon them for earthly things.

Happy New year.

Hi Maria

this is a very sad story, the same thing happened to Tom my husband only he was not hurt, but if I had gone with him I would be dead now.
I will try to keep up with the story, I am still in the travelling mode, we are in Spain for a week and back in Ireland, so I am not getting to fanstory much, I am doing too much celebrating. Happy new year, Mary

I'm glad your'e having a great Christmas. Celebrating is good.
You know my story is fictional, don't you? Some other reviewers thought it was real...
    Thanks for reading.
