this is an excellently done haiku and I love the way you said might because it is still up to us if we want to take His offer of sacrifice or not. We will live, but do we want to give up to live?

Thanks so much. It reminds me of the scriptures, when the apostles asked why the people did not understand his parables, Jesus said,
"Having eyes, they do not see, and having ears, they do not hear"
Thank-you for seeing~ Darren

I second that heartfelt emotion expressed in haiku, Darren.
Here's hoping that you have a Scary Little Christmas yourself, and a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
God bless.

If it is any consolation, I am addicted to reading something of yours every couple of days, it is a new thrill of mine. Thanks for helping me to embrace the darkness, my fancy quilled friend.
Comment from LaRosa
This poem stands on its own.
The picture is beautiful and reminds the reader of the traditional meaning of this holiday time. He was born to die, that we might live!
The truth of the meaning of Christmas. Amen.

Thank you so much, LaRosa. Let us fellowship and love one another, that our joy may be full. I really appreciate your comments, and you help in acknowledge-
ing the REAL reason for this Holiday.
May The Good Lord continue to test and bless you. Love, Darren

may I say thank you, too...but right now, I think I can do with a rest from the 'testing'.
:) :) :)
May you have a peaceful Christmas, Brother!

Sorry, I had to balance the equation no offense intended!

Sorry, Badger, no offense taken. I think I owe YOU an apology considering I phrased this in such a way as to sound negative. I just meant that the poem is so well done. It's beautiful, even without a picture. But the 2 go perfectly together and it was a good choice.

You are so compassionate, that makes us even, (human!)

Thank you~
