I can understand your concern Barbara, unfortunately political correctness is not the truth, free speech, it seems has no value anymore, it's only Christians that are discriminated against, while other religious persuasions are allowed to openly celebrate their special days, Christianity is not, and I doubt if they are remotely offended, it's not the only thing that's discriminated against either. So well done, well spoken out against Barbara. Merry Christmas and happy, prosperous New Year to you and yours,

My husband is retired military. We were stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. This was about 16 - 17 years ago. I was teaching kindergarten. Fort Campbell had government schools at the time. I could not teach Christmas, the the Jewish Kindergarten teach beside me could teach Hanukkah. There's something wrong with that picture. I have nothing against Hanukkah, but if she could teach it, I should have been able to teach Christmas. Thank you for the kind review.

I think that's how we define discrimination, "a rule for the rich and a rule for the poor". Hasn't anyone challenged in a court of law, or are the judges in the devil's camp, we still say merry Christmas, I thought it strange to hear "happy holidays" when we were there last, fight it dea Barbara, it's not right, Roy

Jesus' philosophy has ignited more wars than peace movements. It appears Trump is heading the right way. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

This is one of my favorite verses. It tells us that Jesus (Yashuah) was born at night. The Glory (light) shown round about. Since the sheep were not out at night in the winter, but in the sheepfold, I believe that He was probably born in the fall during the Festival of Joy or Sukkot. Just my belief. I memorized this chapter when I was about ten and still remember most of it. Thanks for sharing.

Christians have no clue when Jesus was actually born, they just chose December 25th. I think there's some theologians who believe it was in the spring because that's when the taxes were due. It really doesn't matter. Thank you for the kind review

I agree. We should be tolerant of all religions and not take down any of the seasonal posters, etc.
It's getting scary out there. We don't know what's okay to say anymore. Not meaning to offend, we might inadvertently do so. While others shout their 'freedom of speech' tirade against others' freedom of speech.
Thank you for sharing.

I couldn't agree more.
We are told we must accept and tolerate other's beliefs and opinions but we can't embrace and proclaim our own.
It's a fine line.
Thank you for sharing.

So glad you posted this. Things have come to quite a state when Charlie Brown gets censored. I have seen on TV that things like this are happening. I really don't know what the answer is. This country is certainly placing the views of all others above those of the Christian faith. We're going to great lengths to see that Muslims are accommodated, for instance, and practically every other group. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and it is an especially timely thought. Great work! judi

LOL I'll be 63 in a few weeks. I honestly and beginning to believe I am too old to be spending my days with 6 year olds. I love it but my body isn't in agreement. I am hoping to hold out 3 more years.

I thought the young ones were supposed to keep you young. Not much longer to go! They need dedicated teachers like you. judi
