Hmm interesting little 3 liner open for a few interpretations I suppose.
I am assuming its the regrowth after the aftermath of a bush fire swathing through the forest. Well that's my interpretation.

Darren, this is a deep poem that speaks volumes in spite of being only three lines. I liked your use of rhyme in the first line and I especially liked the use of metaphor, knowing you understand that fire is necessary and purifying, and that this truth applies to the human heart as well as to nature.
