I like the writing but want to play devil's advocate. Did the husband challenge the doctor to place the check in her cleavage? If she and her co-workers were so taken aback why did it take years for his actions to come into the light? And if you remember Peyton Place it was the innocents that were done the greatest harm by the gossip and innuendo. Cancer is not deserved by anyone.

This is quite an interesting story to have KK's picture added to it. Well, bumping into colleagues does have it's advantages.Sexually tinted stories... Hmmpppt. Good visual imagery created. You pushed too far. Good luck in the contest.

Ha! Testicular cancer - the ultimate punishment for this sleazeball. It sounds as if this particular consultant psychiatrist needed to consult a psychiatrist himself.

Nice story! Even nicer picture!

"This shrink also told all kind of sexually tinted stories, based on what patients had told him, in the middle of the dining room where all the staff (higher and lower) ate at lunch time. Some people decided to eat at another place."

How long have you been writing?

Thanks for your kind review, Ine. Have a lovely Christmas, coming soon. I think five years ago, but as I am Dutch, I will never get top grades.

It is a great shame that professionals like shrinks will tell "stories"about what they hear in confidence. This one appears to have abused his position numerous times, but it is never made clear HOW he finally went too far.

I have heard the story of a secretary, who got paid by a Consultant Psychiatrist in her d©collet©. ... Darn the luck! It seems those FanStory "Gremlins" have struck here yet again.
I'd correct that in a jiffy if I were you...

This shrink also told all kind of sexually tinted stories, based on what patients had told him, in the middle of the dining room where all the staff (higher and lower) ate at lunch time. Some people decided to eat at another place. ... H-m-m-mmmm...that's understandable. I believe I would have opted to eat some place else too...

Good story about an all too common occurrence these days.
Sexual harassment in the workplace.
Good luck in your contest.
