I loved your spiritual poem. Man was made perfect, just as you said, but with most, riches will distort lives and destroy souls. I loved your metaphor, using Gold to show the rich values of mankind. Very well done in style and rhyme.

I agree with you. We are born as stars and precious gems as God made us beautiful and in His image. Our hearts were pure, and seed for good intentions planted in our hearts. The seed to either grows beautiful flowers or weeds. It is up to us the road we take and follow His teaching or not. We are all unique and have gifts of talent. Good choice of words, though, personally I would choose a different image. Blessings, Ella

Here is a profound message of wisdom, well packaged with photo that grips the reader immediately and assures a full reading of the following work. The message is brilliant, wise, and perfectly presented. I enjoyed this very much and cannot offer anything (except thanks) to improve this work in any way! HIS GRAYNESS

I love this poem. The meter and the rhymes are great, of course, but the real treasure is in the meaning. How often we chase after fool's gold only to be disappointed. How wonderful that our heavenly Father doesn't create fool's gold within us. Like the line you penned said: 'God sees the gold in man beneath our flesh...'
Excellent poem!

I'm grateful for the opportunity to review this. Saying pure gold is something deep and pure is great, and that from time to time, we catch a glimpse of gold in the body of a man/woman which displayed it. That's really cool. In Jesus' example, the revelation is so pinpointed within the human being. A chance to see it; how special. I know this is made up, but the existence of gold within the truth of a man like Jesus, seems so right. You capture the essence beautifully and recognise the humility it brings. Love the way you nurtured this and the way you highlighted this. Great work.

Very pretty and true. My son spent time two summers ago looking for gold. He had all the basic equipment. Didn't find anything worth saving. But he learned that the land was beautiful and he could talk to friends while looking, so not all was lost. Great idea. Thanks, you always have beautiful work!

I'm not religious, but that was a beautiful poem. So beautiful in fact that it inspired me to add to my own poem. Great job

Hi Roy, this is just such a reassuring and a confirming poem. Wealth is not measured in gold but in quality of life. Looking around me every day and taking in the beauty of nature confirms it to me. A wonderful poem. All the best. Ulla:))

This is truly beautiful, My friend. I love the quotation and how nery true it is. I feel much more wealth now that I have much less than I used to. Stuff isn't the answer. How we live our lives is. Great write. Have a blessed day~Debbie
