This is a wonderful testimony of your life. Reminds me of the Bible verse that says, "Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, presed down and running over shall men give unto you." May not be exact. This is the law of reciprocity. I have found that if you give freely, God will meet your needs. Thanks for sharing your story.

This is a wonderful story Teri and God does return blessings! It is such a blessing in itself just to help others. This story reminds me of when our girls were young. There was a tornado that went through a neighboring town and Stacey and I wanted to do something. We had tons of clothes that the girls couldn't wear and a baby crib along with other baby things. We asked the church to bring in items also. The day came to deliver everything and I mean everything but the kitchen sink. I packed the car from floor to ceiling and front to back, I even had stuff strapped to the top. We didn't want to just drop the stuff off, we wanted to give it to someone we knew needed it. On the way, Stacey and I prayed for God to send a family that could use the things we had. We arrived and there was a few people there to find things they needed. We were told where to go to unload and I pulled around and began unloading. I had taken a couple of items to the doorway and sat them down when Stacey told me to stop. This family had just pulled in and they had two girls a couple of years younger that our girls and a baby. We listened as they talked to the people in charge. They had lost everything and were staying with family just a couple of blocks away. Stacey and I walked up and began talking to them. As we talked, we all began to cry and Stacey told them that they were an answer to prayers. We explained the prayers and told them that we had much of what they needed and that we would follow them home and unload the car there. I loaded the items that had been unloaded and we followed them home. We unloaded, we talked, we cried and then we prayed. The two hours we spent with this family was an amazing blessing. So, I can just see the smile and joy on Dena and her mom's faces. God is so good! Sorry about the book, but your story brought back those memories and I had to share. May God rain down blessings from heaven on you and your wonderful family.
