A wonderfully painted portrait of sentimentality
and cherished memories, capped with the idea
of enduring love :-)
Great entry in the sijo contest :-)

Hello, sweet pie, how are you? Boy, you enter a contest every day. You must have a million trophies on your mantel. LoL I won one contest in 2016, but I don't enter many contest so I guess that is alright.
Good job, honey, you did well with the form and your words bring to my mind a lovely moment in time. Thank you and good luck. You have my vote. :) Take care zanzigirl.

This sijo poem, Zanzibar Morning, uses three lines and forty-four syllables as you take us back, through the power of suggestion, via a worn and often viewed photograph, to a moment in time that establishes all the moments that followed. Nice.

Very pretty in words and design...in a beautiful turquoise blue...to match the sea....
Souvenir of a beautiful day..
something to last forever...
I keep them in a leather journal
with a silver rose on top..I still have petals from twenty roses from my husband thirty two years ago...very nice poem...
