This is a well-expressed but sad commentary on too many lives wasted in meaningless activity, whatever trauma or other issue may have been the root cause. I cannot make any sense out of the illustration, but maybe that suits the illogic of lives spent doing nothing but playing Solitaire. Overall, well done.

There are some punctuation adjustments that can improve this post. In line 3, "Solitaire, a game..." (that is, one sentence) would be better. In line 7, the comma after "if" should be removed. In line 8, "world -- who" (use two hyphens in a row for long dash, then no capital on "who"), and put a comma after "left" (instead of semicolon). Then, in line 9, use a period instead of dash ("not."). Finally, in line 10, use a comma instead of semicolon ("Solitaire, the only..."). If you make these changes, please tell me and I'll revise this review accordingly.

I appreciate the guidance for correcting punctuation errors and comments. I am going to edit the work. My observations of players indicated that for the most, their loneliness was self imposed. Most did not share feelings and incidences of their lives.

A sad but true reflection. I was a computer consultant. Over the years i came across many people who had thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment. All they ever did with it is play solitaire

My own observations match yours. There are so many among us who took subterfuge in this One Person card game and ignored lonely life. Thanks for sensing the meaning hidden in the words. Best regards.

I love this poem.

What I take from it is the way that some people do wander through life alone and do not experience the joy of sharing with that special person.

And then there are those who find too late the joy of sharing and are left to wonder what could have been.
