This poem is a good bit of mythology about the moon and how it effects us sometimes. It makes us dream somestimes. This seems to be some good meddling by the sprites.

Hi Luna,

I've written a villanelle or two or even a few, but none are as whimsical as this one. I wanted to work on some new material about centaurs based on mythology about horses or dogs. Not sure where I can go with this but with the moon's chariot awaiting you each night, you can travel anywhere and then still feel like Cinderella.

Funny, Shane, I was just listening to the music from Disney's Cinderella earlier today! You take the centaurs based on mythology about horses or dogs. I'm getting ready to write a series based on the Greek and Roman gods and goddesses! I wrote my first one last night! Tell me, before I publish it, would that seem to you as if I were stepping on your toes? Perhaps we could co-author the book, pm me to give me your thoughts.

I don't know much about this form but it seems to flow with a count of it's own.
Stanzas are perfect and so is rhyme.
A very peaceful piece to read and enjoy

The fairy theme is delightful as well as the artwork you chose.
It's a Magical, mystical, masterful story in excellent aba rhyme with good repeating lines and good use of alliteration.

Very enchanted atmosphere, non-judgmental, thought provoking, very enjoyable and thrilling. This is a beautiful poem. I liked it very much. It made for an enjoyable read. The flow was smooth.

This stanza does not rhyme. When you add an s on one word and not the other they no longer rhyme.

Five meddling, magical, matchmaking sprites
put Dream Master with Luna, match supreme.
Mystical music is her delight.

A very well-written Vilanelle about luna's dreams and the dream master. The lines flow well from the top to the bottom. The repeating lines are strong and the rhymes work well right through.

Hi I quote from Lewis Turco's New Book of Forms: "In English meter, accentual syllabic. Lines can be of any single length."Also,accentual syllabic prosody counts both the number of stressed syllables in a line and the number of unstressed syllables in the same line. The stressed syl. alternate more or less regularly in a line to create verse feet, which are also counted" English prosody has nine all together verse feet, four of which are common and four that are the usual. If you want to learn this one, this is the recommended book cited above.

I am running out of superlatives to describe your poetry, Margie. YUou and the moon appear to have a kinship by the way. Is that so? Your name and some of your poetry would indicate such.

"Master of dreams took pause at the sight
