This is a lovely one for children and adults alike. You are a font of imagination and talent, Luna, you seem to be able to write about anything, and write it well. I like this one, because I enjoy reading and writing them, and then seeing the children's faces when we take them to magical places. well done again. :) Sandra xx

Dear Sandra... You write these also? I need to fan you so I can get notified when you post new work.

    Thanks for your gracious review.

I haven't written any for quite a while, my book has taken all my time, I just about manage to squeeze in the Picture This challenge poems. Writing children's story poems is my first love, and I've got 6 books published, one, my first book was published by Melrose Books, and I had a book signing in Waterstones, and Smiths, in the UK. I've kept some of them on here, but if you go down that road, make sure you click on NO to Fanstory putting them out to the world. I didn't realise that publishers won't use your work if it's already out there. I ended up self publishing my others. xx

Luna,The Cycle Is Either the third or fourth poem of yours. I have reviewed today LOL! I haven't kept track to see if you wrote them all today are not. I can imagine anybody is that good that they could write them all in one day so I don't think that's what's taking place. You are a talented writer with a painful story to tell. As you know, who we are comes out in our writing and the experiences that we've had Point us in the direction that we Follow. As your name foretells you have followed the trajectory of the moon. My hope and prayer is that it Has taken you to a place of divine peace! Thanks for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless you!

Dear Dr. Nadir, we're only permitted to post two poems a day, so, they weren't all posted at once. I'm constantly writing though, so with the exceptions of the ones meant for the garbage can, I generally have a number on hand . Dr nad thank you for your lovely and insightful review ❤️❤️❤️

Luna,

Very well reflected thoughts and opinions, expressiveness is working well. The flow was good. The theme was excellent! Your descriptive words were very good for explaining your ideas and your feelings.

A meadow waits for animals
out on their constitutionals.

Nocturnal trekkers' paths she lights,*
fairies resume their nightly flight.
*when you add an s to one and not the other then they no longer rhyme.

rhymezone.com will show you what rhymes.

Everything else is wonderful.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

Dear Oatmeal, thank you for your kind review.

I happened to take your advice, pulling up rhymezone.com, and it seems that both lights and flight are listed as rhymes to each other. Is there something I'm missing?

I appreciate your continued attention to my portfolio, and thanks again!

Another wonderful post.
I love the way you bring images alive with your free flowing rhymes.
"When it's time for the moon to rest,
the sun does what it knows the best;
rises high in the morning sky ~
"Awaken, birds, it's time to fly!"
Outstanding!
Love to read your work.

This is such a cool poem and you had me hooked on fairies. I love these poems and wish there were more on here about them. I think you are becoming one of my favourite poets on here. Thank you for sharing.

I can't promise that Allot my poems will have fairies as the subject matter, but look for a good portion of them to. I appreciate your compliment!

Hi
I love poems about the moon, and this is no exception. It is so heartwarming when the full moon lights up the earth even the house during the night.

Well done

As a Cancer, to me, there is little else in my head but the moon. I'm happy that you enjoy poems about it too.

I appreciate your continued attention to my portfolio, and thanks again!

Hey Luna((((((((((((((... no one could deny, the female of our species has a far greater connection to the pull of the moon... while for me, I feel the power behind the glow and immerse myself in the splendor.

What a wonderful and lyrically rhymed poem... so enjoyed the innocence entwined in the story of... you sure do have a talent for your art... and of course, the divine help in the inspiration behind your motivation... Beautiful!

With our thoughts we create,
the cycle of eight-eternal.

I would consider myself to be amongst those "Nocturnal Trekkers" of which you wrote about here in this lovely, well-rhymed poem, Luna.
I can't elaborate further as to why, but it isn't necessary.

Luna's lovely light does have a certainly...sil'vry, sublime allure, doesn't it? I much prefer night over day myself.

As for your reference to faeries, you wouldn't like the faeries I keep hanging around. I suppose one would refer to them as "sprites" instead.

How wonderful is this poem where you are addressing each phase of the moon. There's a certain sense of humour I do like. All the best. Ulla:)))
