Those with a strong relationship with our creator are shielded on the inside, clean and unsullied by the filth swirling about us. Jehovah God is a safe haven from a world dominated by the spirit of wickedness so prevalent today. We must never allow that filth to invade our safe place, our heart and mind. Strong dedication to our creator will prevent its encroachment.

I enjoy the way you compare faith build on sand with faith built on The Rock. You use many interesting comparisons & much imagery to show how this can go either way, depending on our choices. Your rhyming sounds natural, too. The opening "vexation's sting" is one of the best phrases becuz of its originality & the way it hits the nail on the head, as far as conveying a vivid sensation of disappointment.
