Nichole may have just become a Californian in attitude and that's what Frank noticed. AND no matter what you do, nothing in FL can compare(in her mind) to CA.
I'd have had a terrible time with Jeff. He's still a man-child.

He is, but also is growing up. You'll find out why in the last chapter.
CA is hard to compete me.
It changes our children to live in a big city and have a prestigious job.

Different people will amass different opinions, especially in situations like this one.
Although the outing seemed pleasing, perhaps the personalities still clash which can hamper these types of experiences.
Good characterizations used throughout the relaying of this story.

And a clash could have happened over the golf-cart incident, but Frank promised me he'd be good. Thanks for the feedback and five star review.

You had me laughing with this one. Your tongue in cheek sarcasm really came through, and at the end when the son-in-law becomes Frank's favorite person--I like to have died with your dementia proof comment. Omg. I feel I know your family as a fly on the wall. Good stuff, Shari. You have a great sense of humor. Leaving it with calling your son for his take on it--so mom typical!

So glad to hear this delighted you. I was in shock and horrified by Franks' perception.
