This poem has a stark quality. So often one wakes from an unfinished dream and wishes to return to continue the experience, but waking up dead is certainly a final illusion. The accompanying illustration is also interesting.

Oh, wow. Don'cha just hate it when that happens?
I called into work dead once.
They told me that I'd better bring in proof of my death upon my return, or else.
Needless to say, I no longer work there.
Ahem...
This was pretty dramatic for such a short poem. Very expressive and emotive.
