Initially, I read this poem as a love poem. She plays for
her lover, giving her all to just be near him. But I also
know you as a poet. This is not a love poem but a prayer.
You are playing and giving your all for God. You play the violin
to praise God in this poem.
Forgive me if I'm reading too much into this. -Bill

Beautifully written. The violin is the vessel that transports the emotion and feelings across time and space. You put your heart and soul into writing and it is evident.

-Beautiful image.
-I like your poem-good imagery and rhyme.
-I also like the use of the violin
as a symbol of love:
"My love, I come to play my violin...
praying and hoping your heart I'll win"
-She plays in hopes of seeing his face.
-She'll even play it for him every night
until her "hands turn cold and blue."

A poem that I had no trouble connecting with, I like to play the violin and it puts me in a very mellow state. Well written and very inspiring.

Such an amazing picture and poem to go with. The violin as an instrument vents arm th with each chord. You are such a magnificent Poetess. Fantastic.

Alternating ten and nine syllable lines in rhyming couplets, the resultant variable rhythms carry with them a hint of the gypsy music that is obvious in the art work. a lovely little love song this.
