Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Brilliantly idealistic, Nirvana-like, Shangri-La view of a Utopian society and government.
What's really striking is how creatively you've expounded on all of it, how grammatically correct and emotionally impacting your words hit.

If only ... thank you, Sir, for a much brighter, more promising, and inspiring view of our country and its future! ~ Richard

This is good, I think there will be a new stronger party come in play in the next few years specially if trump pulls off a miracle. Nice read on this weather I can agree or not. have a great day.

I'm not an American, but that doesn't mean I'm not subject to the constant coverage on what is happening south of (my) border. And I cannot believe what I'm seeing. Usually, I change channels.

I enjoyed this. I laughed out loud at the 'Don't get it' comment.

In terms of presentation and defending or stating a position and clarity of presentation, a five all the way. Content, well some points are taken and defended quite well. Read the part about a world domination cabal, little over the top. In my opinion WW-1 was a family feud and the U.S; should have turned a cold shoulder. WW-2 a result of the unfinished fight between cousins in WW-1
Just made the above observations as an aside.
Do not buy into the general observations about the evils of our system of government. We have a world problem with have and have-not countries. We have spent millions for defense not for gains for corporations but to preserve the right the of people to live in freedom.
What we do as a nation might not be pretty but we have preserved freedom for thousands of people, made mistakes, you bet. We are forced to maintain a standing army so people like you and I can speak freely and disagree without fear. Not so bad all things considered.

Hi
This is very well written, it is a joke what is happening in America at present, the two candidates are in my opinion not fit to be commander in chief. Bernie Sanders would have been better, he would have my vote. Your detailed debate is done so well, I would like to see it published.

well done, I rate it a six. Mary

I am very sorry, I am out of 6 stars for the week. This work is pure poetry. I have noted you make reference to the "stranglehold the media has on the American mind is shameful" is really not just limited to the US. I am afraid it is a global issue. I love every single point you have raised, not just because I am a gay woman who has struggled in a predominantly male work environment (electrical engineering and design), who is raising her second special needs child, who is a Buddhist and believes every blade of grass, breath of air, every tree, every life is sacred but because if we (as a global community) don't get our act together, and soon, will be regretting it sooner than later.
I know you are making a point aimed directly at US politics this really applies to all politics and we all need to move to a new level of thinking if we want our children and grand children to survive. Thank you so much for writing this. Please take it to the next level. As they say, it only takes one person to affect big changes in the world. What you just wrote could move mountains.
I can't say enough good things about "The Debate". I love every word of it. You have taken a huge problem and broken it down into a workable solution.
Brilliant. Well written, well done!

America is being bamboozled by crooks and liars. The modern media pulls the strings and people have forgotten how to think for themselves. Bernie Sanders was the one hope I had for America. Look at his record. I hear Trump spewing his garbage, and just wince. Outdated laws need to be changed. America needs to heal. This was an interesting piece on the decline of America and the Presidents role in it. Cheers, judester

I couldn't agree more with your essay, with over 300 million people in our country, these two are the very best we have to offer?

You laid out your points in a clear and concise manner.
Suggestions for you to consider:
Instead of 'give them an alternative that can not only benefit this country, but the entire planet', consider phrasing it this way: 'give them an alternative that will benefit this country as well as the entire planet.' This puts a positive spin on the idea and removes the negative 'not', 'but'.
'Those (who) voted for Bernie Sanders are ones (who) will'; and 'those (who) serve the World Domination'
If only the debates were as polite, reasoned, and orderly as portrayed in this post, but you did categorize it 'fantasy'!

Yes, a third party with strength and money to rise to equality with the big two. We no longer have a real choice. I think Common Sense would be a good name for a third party, and that MUST be their platform in all areas. We should elect one of the three if he/she gets a majority of the votes. If not, the two candidates with the most votes will meet each other head on in a final vote. This way you aren't stuck with either-or disasters.
