Fallen leaves and apple cider are two iconic images of the autumn season. Sweeping up the one and swigging down the other are good ways of creating a bit of warmth as the days shorten.

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem. There are some chores that need to be done. The best way to get everybody to help is a promise of a favorite treat, in this circumstance, it will be a drink of hot apple cider to rake up the autumn leaves.

I love the seasonal feel to this. Syllable count perfect. Presentation perfect. Good color suggestion but not over powering. I love the cider mention and the leaves. Only thing missing was a bonfire. Guess there weren't enough syllables. Lol. Great job. Gretchen
