Hi, my friend. I'm way behind, but of course we answer these backwards, yes? LOL
So pleased you enjoyed. The topic is posted. Jump right in!! mikey

This work has reached the exceptional level

Simplicity in elegance. You take the whole of an experience and crush it down into a few choice lyrics. Most writers would sell their teeth for passages such as this. You are definitely winning this challenge.

I could have predicted this, Mikey. You would make no change at all. You like your life as a whole, even the troubles, because that's part of reality... and it feels so good when they end. Great poem, btw. :)

Another great topic. Cool that most of us came to the same conclusion, but there was still great variety. Different voices and different angles. Glad you liked this. I'm always surprised that something coherent pops out in such a short time. LOL mikey

Michael,

I agree and understand your view reflected in this poem. Mistakes in life hurt and we sometimes wish we could have a do-over, but it is those mistakes that make us who we are and help us to grow.

I like the way you worded your message.

Kelly

You are a lucky man, if this protagonist is you...I, for one, wouldn't know where to begin writing what I would change...(sigh)... I LOVE this poem, Michael - what I don't understand is in your notes -"Pantygynt Poems Again"???

My notes? I just copied and pasted the challenge. I didn't read them. LOL
Yeah, this is me. I figure I could certainly go back and make things a lot WORSE, so, yeah, I'll play this hand. HA! So pleased you enjoyed. I haven't been around lately, nice to hear from you. I'll try and stop by. I have been reading. :)) mikey

Mmm, nice format...A Do Over, you say? LMAO
I like it and must attempt it sometime.
On to your poem...I agree. You couldn't, wouldn't and shouldn't change a thing. Every moment, every step, every fork in every road has got you to this point right here. It's easy to think life would be better lived out again, but that's with aid of retrospect...plus you just don't know how many little unimportant things contribute to the overall picture and where you end up in life.
I DREAD to think what I WOULD have missed, should I hash this whole existance thing out again to have an apparent better crack.
Play the cards you're dealt, there's always some poor bastard worse off than you, that's for sure.
Regrets can pack a bitter sting but the only reason they were invented were so poets had something to lament over haha
Nice job, this packed a punch and leaves THIS reader nodding in agreeance.
Cheers P

    Hi.
Great to hear from you. Yeah, we're totally on the same page. I could only go back and make it worse. I smile a lot looking back to be honest. So, it's all good. LOL
Hell, the dealer's still dealing, so I can't complain. mikey

Mr. Cahill, once again you have delivered the challenge quite well. If you could go back in time, would you really not change and thing. Well sir, country crooners say they would all the time,, but I can see your point here... loved reading this work.. good to see you post again... jimi

HI! I'm actually out here somewhere though you wouldn't know it.
Whatever I'd change would probably turn out worse, so I'll just stick with what I've got and my pick up truck and old blue. LOL
Glad you liked this. Congrats on your POM. WOW! So deserved, but shocking enough people knew that! I'm a couple weeks behind in everything, but I have read a greatly appreciate your reviews and all that. Mucho thanks, mikey

Well you look good in a dress, Mav. This challenge was a bit difficult wasn't it, because there could be many things, or nothing at all. I believe you've written your pantgynt to perfection with just that in mind.

The only word you might want to change is surely.

Excellent offering to the Potlatch.

Well, dearest one, I've got to get into a dress SOMEHOW! Jeesh. Ahhh. I did change "surely". It threw that line off, yes? Funny, almost everyone came to the same conclusion. You've never tried sushi? I'm a little shocked. I guess I'm more adventurous what with the dress wearing etc. Thanks so much, loveliness.

Love, love, LOVE. *smile* And I love the noir effect to add drama, da'ling! You always entertain the masses, Mikey and keep 'em smilin'. BTW, you and I ended up in the same place. Great minds, I guess...

You are too sweet and I am smiling now. Yes, great minds indeed. I've been terribly busy and thus lax. I do read your work and love it even if I don't have time to review. Love the rob-rus LOL! mikey

Yep! No regrets! That's the way to live life. Just keep the page turning until you get to the end. No turning back. Dwelling on the past never did anyone any good anyway. I like your response to this one.

I figure I could only make it WORSE if I had the chance to do it again. Best thank my lucky stars I made it through, yes?
You should stop by and try one. A GREAT form, perfect for you. mikey
