LOL, You have sussed out the rules, lol! I love it. Being a Nanna myself, I do have to tell you, my grandchildren rule my heart, and I am quite happy about that. I did enjoy your poem, and my husband apparently agrees with you!! LOL. xsx Sandra

Thank you for your kind words. It was purely tongue in cheek

I laughed reading your fun poem with its advice on how to deal with an angry or upset wife.
Your rhyme is perfect and the stanzas had a nice even tempo, making for a most enjoyable read.

The guys in my neck-of the woods, and in the circles I run with, would say most unequivocally that the man of whom you're writing about here in your funny little poem is Pussy Whipped, Bob, or PW'ed for short.
Good stuff.

Yes I am. Or should I also reply to you, yes dear.
Thank you for reading and reviewing.

"Yes, dear," works just fine for me, Bob.
I am not PW'ed, however, nor will I EVER be, which is most likely why I've been married twice. LOL.
Good stuff.~Dean

I also often used the 'too dear' phrase when I'm shopping. I've also been married twice, to the same woman. She was so lucky

Hahaha, I'll bet she was, lol. :)

I envy people who can write prose AND poetry. Good job with this. It's funny and very enjoyable. Glad to see you writing and apparently feeling more like your old self.

I feel so much better. And luckily for me, the writing is flowing rather well. I'm already half way through Calin's follow-up as well as implementing your suggestions with Calin 1.
Thank you for the nice words

I will be moving on with Calin, but this week turned into a disaster. Have to take dog to vet in morning. She's developed a cataract. Al has to have more blood work, but fortunately I don't have to be involved in that. We're trying to find out why he's so tired with no good reason.

Love it! "Yes dear" gets me out of heaps of trouble, except when delivered with a sarcastic undertone - BIG mistake! Your solution in the last couple of lines rings a bell too!

Thank you Tony, I hope that's the correct name. I saw your name written somewhere in a review today. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
