This picture challenge was different and handled in so many different ways. YOurs made me smile with the pie as the prize.
Very nicely done with the flow being a sing/song tone.

If you open your door and let the smell of the pie cooking waft out, I'm sure they will be queuing up for miles! LOL. Make sure they pay for it! Thanks, Phyllis, have you made it yet? ~That really was spooky! :) Sandra xxx

I just took it out of the oven. Mark's sister is visiting from Michigan and brought a bag of yummy apples, so I made us a pie. Come have a slice. :)

You imp! You had us thinking one thing, and popped the surprise. I enjoyed your clever bit for the "picture this" potlatch assignment. Well written, and such a tease.

Oh, yes, there is nothing more alluring than the smell of hot apple pie with a dollop or two of ice cream, and drizzled with warm caramel. I must admit I would turn down just about anything for it. Great job. :-)

I have come to the conclusion that men (and ladies, too) will
do just about anything for a good piece of pie. I, for one, will
seek out places that are known for baking a good pie. So
entertaining, all in good fun, with great rhyming. Marilyn

Oh my that was a great twist and ironically it does suit the picture rather well. It would be great to be incised in that manner and then receive a truly great treasure of pleasure. Great job Sandra, thanks.
