Hehe I can't believe I missed this one linda. As an avid surfer I am in the ocean every day and one of a surfer's greatest fears is sharks What a creepy photo I would have loved to have seen this on video to see what happened.

Hi waves, as a kid I always came home with every living thing to keep....was just wondering if mom would have let me have a shark....we had a pond in the back...or water hole....LOL...if that had been me in that picture....I would have been rolling fast....can you imagine looking back there and seeing that???...LOL...you be careful out there...I would be very upset if a shark got you....thank you my sweet friend....love ya Linda xxoo

Excellent picture promoting your 5-7-5. I used to do this with stray dogs and have them all in my yard and then the owners would always know where their dogs were but this is a little extreme. I thought it was humorous in a weird sort of way.

I do have a kayak, but wouldn't take it out into the ocean. That's a scary photo, for sure. I think most animal lovers can identify with your 5-7-5 and pestering their mom for an animal. My mom told me, "When you grow up you can have all the animals you want." So now I do. :) Marilyn

I noticed some surfers once around here who were playing right near where I was on the beach. Since then I've shut my eyes and mouth and just kept walking.

You're right- they don't seem to give a fig about it. The same year I was at the beach with the sharks I famous(?) kid was killed right where they were surfing. Not too bright these new kids.
