Hail St. Dennis!

After reading these Bible assurance passages, there should be no reason for
anyone doubting their salvation.

I think one of the reasons many Christian have trouble with eternal Assurance,is because from the very beginning of life at an early age, we have been trained or ingrained within us that anything worth having must be earned in some way...hence lack of assurance of salvation.

My computer has been messed up somehow and so I have not been on FS for several weeks. I hope I have got it fixed now.

maranatha!!

descipling. It really feels great being back on FB again reading all these scripual eiding. YBIC Jeeey

HI Dennis, I think we all wonder if we are doing it right...if the faith we have is the right faith....if we sin...even when it is forgiven...if we are taking one step back...I think you just have to believe God...Jesus ...are here...and They love us...and return that love...so good to see you my friend...miss ya...very well written...Love Linda xxoo

Yes, we ae often of little faith and so our Father speaks comforting words in the scripture so we can continually trade our fears for the facts of His love. "who shall separate us from the love of God now that Christ has removed our sin once and for all in God's sight? God bless you, Dennis

Dennis, It is such an important thing as Christian that we know with assurance that when we leave here we'll instantly be in the presence of our Lord. I love the tenth chapter of John for the many references to eternal life when we know the Lord.
There is nothing we can do to earn salvation and nothing we can do to take us out of His hand.

Writings about God and Christ will always hold a special place in my heart. Your opening is on point.

"Many believers carry a nagging fear they will not "make the final cut". Somehow, they simply don't have enough faith...works...prayers...vision...commitment...feelings of closeness to God. So they try all manner of ways of stilling the inner fear."

I prefer using Scriptural references from KJV

Thank you for your kind words! The KJV holds a place in my heart too. It is very enlightening to read the complete forward of the original KJV translators. It is not fully included in most copies, but can be found on the web. God bless you, Dennis

Thank you for your wonderfully wise words. We are so blessed by the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and God's immeasurable grace. I pray that we can all live lives filled with gratitude in the revelation of our salvation.

Your first sentence states the issue you are addressing. This is good because you do not dilly-dally around, but hit your topic head on.
Your second paragraph lets the reader know there is only one way to deal with the issue.
Your third paragraph tells what that way is, and then you support it with scripture.
This is a clear, direct message.
Your author notes are written so well, you could have included them in your message.
Well done!

I enjoyed reading this post today, Deniz :)

- I love the thought of letting "my soul marinate". You are a wordsmith with that one!

- Sometimes it's the simple things that reach us the best. I like that you listed uplifting verses from the bible and allowed the reader to feel the personal and individual impact.

It is absolutely wonderful that we who have put on Christ are now hidden from all penalty, Galatians 3:27, and in a sense the blood of Christ is a cloak of righteousness. I heard a couple of weeks another side to the argument of church being born from the wound of Christ, (the wound where the blood and water poured from Jesus, was the birth of His bride, the church, as Eve came from the side of Adam, his bride) it's an amazing analogy. Well done, Bro, haven't seen you for awhile, bless you fo this work, Roy

Hi brother Roy, yes I love that analogy. We are part of Him as the Bride of Christ, one in the Father's sight. God bless you, Dennis
