Hello...-smile-
I really like this poem...I love the music of it...
when I first came here some ...tried to help with tools they gleaned by the by. one was a place called rhymezone....its very useful and expands the mind. I like it because it also give definition...anyway....-smile-..as I said I really like this...but..I noticed you repeat "eye"
only way to get away with that is to make it obvious...purposely do it.....so ...-smile-...you could change the second....like this...."streaks of lightening change amplify"...and in "summer"...omit the first..."I'd pick just one"...will feed into the next stanza perfectly. Anyhow I hope youre not mad at me...I do really love the music of this...-smile-...love Michael

I like your piece. It has a nice eveness to it because of the refrain. Nice imagery in each season though I like how you wrote spring best. I liked that you didn't use the most obvious characteristics of the seasons. That made this piece fresh I thought your description pf fall in particular illustrated this. Great job.

Very nicely observed. "As far as you can see by eye" is a bit awkward, but I reread the poem a few times and it really doesn't matter too much, as what dominates is the amount of detail -- and the choices you made are effective. I like the repetition of the chorus, too.

    Thank you for your review and comments. I agree that line is a bit awkward, but I drew a blank and that was the best I could come up with at the moment. True, it wouldn't roll off my tongue in any normal conversation! I'm glad you pointed that out, maybe I can come up with some other way to describe on that sentence. Thank you again!

Thank you for sharing this free verse poem. It has some rhyme, more repetition, and a lot of imagery. The picture you have chosen complements the poem well enough. Keep writing!

truly a beautiful picture that captures colour in your words landing in the seasons under the moonlight very beautifully painted piece

Although autumn is my favorite season, I love the sentiments that you expressed in this poem. The imagery is impeccable, especially in the last stanza.
