Good morning, Barb, and thank you so much for bestowing a coveted SIX on this final chapter :) I love seeing those rate birds attached to my work. I loved hearing that your coworker found it funny coming in cold to the dating saga. :) Thank you for sharing that! I send these to my friend before posting for her approval, being careful not to victimize her a second time with anything that would make her feel worse, and she is getting a kick out of them too, now that she is safely home in Europe.

In an unrelated issue, three elderly AZ women are missing for over a year, all having met the same old fart on line, removing all their money from the bank. The police may have to release him, as bodies have never been found. The internet has made it so easy for criminal minds.

the internet is behind many things that would be harder if it were not here. Cyber bullying, missing persons, pedophiles, terrorism, what nest?

Most definitely. By the way, Bruni thanks you for the support...She's hoping to get more air time too!

*Rare birds, not rate birds...that was Brunhilda typing.

A good ending to this story. I imagine that this situation occurs all too often. Your friend was lucky that you were there to bail her out of a bad situation

Thank you, Doug, for the RR&R and input. You are so right, we have three elderly AZ women missing after meeting a guy on line; no bodies and they will likely have to release him on lack of evidence soon. All withdrew money from their banks...horrible.

Another great write, Mary! LOL

Extremely well written and presented. First off ... love the pics of all of you! Second ... You made me laugh at least five times. :)

This final chapter summed everything up nicely, and it was great to see a happy ending for all concerned. Charlotte was very lucky that you and your husband came to her rescue. What big hearts you have, which to me, is easily evidenced by (a) you and your husband ate veggie lasagna too (even though you're not vegetarians) (b) You took Charlotte to your home and let her stay overnight, and to the airport the next day (c) You took her sightseeing so that at least she would have some pleasant memories of her adventures in the U.S. of A.

Some of my fave lines (and there were MANY):

- "Bruni demanded I count her as her own person" ... bossy, isn't she!
- "She added the bestselling author must be getting paid in fake FanStory money"
- "Fried Trump hair" ... great visual!
- "I tried not to take her 'short girl' job personally
- "Book 'em Danno!"
- "complete role reversal" ... Oh, that Brunhilda ... she has a heart after all!

Great write, Mary! Very entertaining!

Good morning and happy Sunday, Connie. You certainly made mine perfect waking up to your review and fabulous bestowing of a SIX!! Thank you so very much. I love hearing your reactions, they are always tops for me. I have been sending Charlotte my chapters before posting for her approval first, and she is getting a kick out of them, now that she is safe at home.

On an unrelated story, there are three elderly woman missing for over a year in AZ, who all shared the same unfortunate on line meet with the same guy. He is 77, currently in jail, but they may have to release him since no bodies have been found. Charlotte is lucky her guy wasn't a murderer in addition to being a liar.

Have a wonderful day, and I hope your husband is healing quickly :) XO

Whew!
Charlotte made it out safely and did see a little bit of the better part of Arizona before she left.
I'm glad things all worked out for the best.
Friends forever.

Thank you, Ellen. Yes, all ended well for her, and just recently in AZ, three women are missing after meeting the same man on the internet at different times. I appreciate your continued follow and RR&R!

    So, he IS dangerous.
    She escaped just in time!
Is he under investigation? How did you learn about the missing women that hand met him?

No, not the same creep....this is an older guy

Good conclusion to another great write.

intersections at a snails pace - need an apostrophe in there.

the bestselling author must be getting paid in fake FanStory money. - well... it is like gold dust, you know! lol

infering ex-wifey is too short - inferring.

lying sack of despicable human trash speaks to his mastery of deception skills - this whole sentence doesn't scan properly. I would suggest inserting 'which' before speaks.

Frank Lloyd Wright's influence and architectural - should that be influential?

Well, it ended better than I expected it to at first. What a way to make friends. LOL. You were very kind to go through all this for a stranger.

Your writing is always good, entertaining, and captivating. It flows smoothly and naturally.

I have enjoyed this story very much. 8-)

Thank you, Yvonne. Yes it did, though 3 other AZ women are still missing after meeting the same man online in an unrelated story. Thank you for your RR&R!

That is scary. Stay away from that. Don't get more involved than you have been. It's too dangerous. 8-)

I don't mean Charlotte's man, I just meant to reference another on line romance situation that ended very badly for the three victims of a guy unrelated to Charlotte's experience. This guy involved in the three women is 77 years old and at that age, I don't know how he disposed of three bodies so well, they can't file charges due to lack of evidence...unless he had help...

My goodness! I read about these things, but you never think about them happening close to home. Just be careful about getting involved in things.

I know you like to help, and I used to be the same way. I'm more cautious in my old age. LOL. 8-)

All's well that ends well, and you made a friend of someone you never would have met otherwise. You just never know what your actions may lead to. Good story. :)

the 'burb's' <-- Should be 'burbs'... see next one for same error explained.

trio's of tortoises <-- Should be trios, no apostrophe.

THE RULE IS CLEAR. Never, as in NEVER... never use an apostrophe to create a plural word. If you don't know the correct spelling, google "plural of trio" and so on.

hat goes for both, Shady Dick Trump Hair Troll and Europe. <-- Remove that comma.

Thank you, Phyllis, I've made the corrections. I'm not sure why I continually do that, but I definitely have an issue realizing it before I launch. I appreciate your explanation and catches. Thank you again for your interest and commitment. Have a great Sunday.

I enjoyed the kinetic energy of this chapter. Your prose jumps off the page and is filled with wacky characters, situations, and dialogue that are true to life but loony. I also enjoy your self-deprecating FanStory humor such as in this line, "She added the bestselling author must be getting paid in fake FanStory money." You display a lot of energy and vitality in your writing, creating an entertaining read.

Thank you for sharing. I wish you success on your journeys.

This is well written and makesw me want to read the rest of the story, but with ther insatiable need for Fanstory money, unless you revive it in a couple years, I'll never know. Interesting ending, my friend~Debbie
