Wow, what a twist at the end. I like how you "hint" all through the poem (Special bond, going together etc) I got the "twins part early on but not the Siamese part till the end. You did an excellent job here.

Rules of engagement: Twist a poem with at least one twist about any subject Blind entries. Good lead up to the twist. Well done. Good luck.

You followed the rules well and saved the twist until the very end. I was almost done reading it before I suspected that you were even twins. Then when you said "Mike was always to my right", I began to suspect that you were attached.

A bond can never be unbroken and though each individual is uniquely different the bond is never broken. I love this writing. From the heart! A reality. My brother long story of what doctors did to my mom his twin was scraped to pieces my brother he survived. As the twin who remained alive my brother feels the bond as if a piece of him he knew within my mothers womb still with him. Male or female the shreds of arms and legs it was never known. But bonds like your yours in death or life never can be forgotten or unbroken. Fantastic writing..

A very well-written poem. While reading I saw my two boys while they were growing up. The one big and tall the other smaller competing, fighting and partying together. They are not Siamese twins though.
