Dear Yvonne,

This is a most precious poem and so very touching.
Wow, I'm in awe. The message that you conveyed is
so very powerful and so wonderfully and poetically
conveyed with perfect rhymes and melodic flow.

So impacting and a very strong teaching instrument
for young ones. It touched me deeply too and believe
me, I'm not young.

Love that artwork too. Wally has such a caring and
loving heart. I'm just glad I have a six to offer this.

I like Wally. It's a special gift to bring others joy through your talent. My sister was a portrait artist. I always said that if I could paint like her I would do nothing else. She was taken much too soon, but she touched hundreds with her art.

I'm so sorry about your sister. I lost my oldest son five years ago. It doesn't get better, does it, but it gets bearable.

My mother will be 95 on Christmas Day, so that's another loss I must face eventually. 8-)

There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her and her wonderful talent. She painted an Indian chef on my motorcycle. Th old chief looked like he could talk to you. I think sometimes he does.

I work with seniors. They really do have some wonderful stories. Some scary stories too, like being in a bank when it was robbed by Bonnie and Clyde. Wally will find they're really worth listening to. Hopefully he'll give kids an idea.
