My beagle writes short stories-- they are posted on my page, Katie Jo is always in the title. She is the strongest 24 pound dog there is. I have to both harness and collar her to keep her from getting loose as she can get out of either one by itself with no problem. She can pull anyone, including me in a wheelchair, much farther than they planned on going. I don't know what is in her dogfood, but I think they should make a reduced strength version. This hits home with me. Best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie

Thank you, Debbie, for your review and for wishing me the best in the contest. My poem hit home with a lot of reviewers with superdogs. Thanks again.

Nothing like a role reversal to cheer up my gloomy day here in Perth. The weather here is windy, wet and it's going to last for a very long time [Groundhog Day].
A clever and witty Senryu. I hope the dog loved reading it!

That's a great idea, Jan, I am going to recite my senryu to my dog. She gave me the idea. Thank you for your review.

lol, very cute, Andre, I would have loved to have seen that. ;)
One note:
dog walks old man gripping leas(h)
(I'm assuming you were gripping his dog leash? Not the lease on your apartment?) ;)
Other than that, very cute, and great luck in the contest! ;) Hugs!

...but who decided when and where- that has to count for something, no? Might be time for the doggy park. That's something about cities these days that I like, most are designating park areas. We have a doggy beach here and that's special.
Good Luck with your contest.

Yes, who decides when or where? If it was up for me, I would have retired for the evening. My dog would have none of it. Thank you for your review and for wishing me success in the contest.

I loved your Senryu poem. And I agree. It is the other way around. Especially if it is a big dog. But small dogs do the same. They run, therefore you run. By the time the walk is over, you have had your workout. haha A very nice poem about the dog taking you for a walk.

Great poem! I love the image of role reversal. Anyone who has ever walked a dog knows that feeling. Good luck with the contest and thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Oliver, for your review. I am shocked but humbled that my puny little dog reversed roles with me. Thank you also for wishing me success in the contest.

yep it happens start out walking the dog and he then turns the tables and he's walking you all over the place while he sniffs everything

Yes, isn't that the truth? I was taken aback by my puny little dog taking charge of the walks. I just follow and clean up after her, but it is not all bad because I walked ten thousand steps today! Thanks for giving our haiku its first review.
