I don't know why you can't give the shots. I do mine--intramuscular. It's a long needle but easy to do.
I like the way you had the receptionist chirp--it suited her bird-brain behavior.
Where do they get these girls? Useless 'f' ups.

I watch a YouTube video on it where a man injects himself in the thigh. The preparation though sounded like too much work.
Good for you to them yourself. Of course, Frank has no trouble with the sugar shots.
What are your shots for?

I take gold for RA.

This is a story that I see daily--people putting off treatment because of the expense. Health care is a part of life liberty and pursuit of happiness?
The insurance companies and healthcare providers play (Unwitting?) games to drive up the cost for those who can least affords it.

Thanks, gene, for your input. Hubby is diabetic and high maintenance. He goes into the gap every year around September.

Spitfire--
Very well done.
I guess I have just entered the entirely too long era of Medicare, having just signed up for it. The medical system is like what you describe here no matter where you are and no one that I am aware of is happy with it. Your husband is lucky to have such a tough troubleshooter on his side helping him. I will look for the next episode because many's the time I have come close to losing it so I want to see what I have or haven't missed!
One minor problem I noted:
SHE: Your (a) twenty-five dollar co-payment, please. not necessary.
Best

Thanks for catching the spag, Jeff. Everyone says Obama's Affordable Care Act is what makes the system so chaotic. I don't know who's to blame, but someone needs to fix it. The older I get, the easier I am to lose my temper.
