Some of the greatest criminal minds have been created by irrelative acts in youth. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a good read.

Quite an adventure for your protagonist/antagonist. He's got quite a few tricks up his proverbial sleeves. Let's see if he's going to be able to pull them off. He sure knows how to hold a grudge, doesn't he?
Good job,
Rhonda

Easy to read. Interesting premise. Good plot. Well defined characters. Old fashioned page turner. Flows nicely.
All the standard clichés, but apropos for this effort.
No sense inventing new ones when these fit well with this supreme work.

Good job Brett...smooth writing that delivered the necessary information to inform and interest the reader. Didn't see anything negative as you moved the story from who the character is and why he does what he does.

Well written and engaging. Well developed character in Mark Bannister. One note, and this could just be me: separate the scenes of the two characters with something like this; ********************. I was confused when there was no obvious transition from one character to the next. Otherwise, this was some good writin'

Revenge, simmering away year after year for this guy and sounds like he's coming back with a vengeance. Mr Creepy could apply to him to. I'll be looking for the next chapter in this drama. Enjoyed Brett,
cheers

I like the old-school feel to this. It reminds me of the Hardy Boy books that I read as a child.
I felt like the opening was a little slow, and you nearly lost me there. I'm glad I stayed with it.
It has a nice closing hook that will bring readers back.

Brett, you got my attention right from the title! I knew that this would great, but it turns out to exceptional. I remember reading your Brock Daniels travails with this guy. So here we go again.
Great storyline with a lot of internal dialogue! Bannister's obsession with Holt and what happened when they were friends in high school. This guy is really cruel and sick, willing to kill innocent people to make Wyatt's life miserable until Bannister either kills his nemesis or he gets killed himself!
Sorry about my rambling review, but I was very excited to see your name pop up in my message box. When I lived in Lincoln City Oregon, I had been to Portland many times and loved it there!
An exceptionally written story, Brett!
My best

This is BeeBo's beginning in Portland.
Several FanStorians asked me to tell that part of the story.
So I am.
Appreciate the 6 Stars.
I set the story in Portland because I have always liked that little town.
