An attractive presentation of a sunset. The poem describes nature at this time in a well written and natural way. With pleasing rhymes and alliteration...

I hope it wasn't your dinner burning, Linda! I hate that smell too. I've burnt the gravy a couple of times, and that reeks!
I'm really pleased you enjoyed this poem, my friend. I do love that time of day when everything is going to bed. It is a peaceful time. Big hugs, my dear friend. :) Sandra xxxx

Hi Sandra
Your words bring the picture of the sunset to life, describing what happens when the sun goes down perfectly. Very well written.

A lovely interpretation of this photo, beautifully presented. The rhyming pattern is clear yet not "rhyme-y". There's a good deal of alliteration and consonance. And some clever near rhymes :
A hush occurs as all the birds
Overall, a very successful work.

Of course I made the wrong word bold in my comment. But you know what I meant. occurs/bird. Argh.

A portrait of the natural world as the sun sets resplendent with color and the sound of the evening's hush - a meditiative reflection

A beautifully presented poem. Most descriptive and good rhyming too. A wonderful nature poem that describes nature in all her glory. The old Master Painter from the hills far away. Thanks for sharing my friend.
