An attractive presentation of a sunset. The poem describes nature at this time in a well written and natural way. With pleasing rhymes and alliteration...

I hope it wasn't your dinner burning, Linda! I hate that smell too. I've burnt the gravy a couple of times, and that reeks!

A lovely interpretation of this photo, beautifully presented. The rhyming pattern is clear yet not "rhyme-y". There's a good deal of alliteration and consonance. And some clever near rhymes :
A hush occurs as all the birds

Overall, a very successful work.

Of course I made the wrong word bold in my comment. But you know what I meant. occurs/bird. Argh.

Yes, lol, I understood what you meant! xxx

A portrait of the natural world as the sun sets resplendent with color and the sound of the evening's hush - a meditiative reflection

A beautifully presented poem. Most descriptive and good rhyming too. A wonderful nature poem that describes nature in all her glory. The old Master Painter from the hills far away. Thanks for sharing my friend.

I love this descriptive poem for the Picture This challenge.
Your beautiful images let the reader enjoy the golden sunset,
the sounds and the silence once night falls.
Lovely rhymes and strong meter add to the pleasure of reading
your poem.
