Your style is unique Michael and not only tantalises but so often alludes to more than one thing. It makes the reader want to dive in completely and drape the words all over themselves...well, maybe your lady readers haha
Anyway, always good to read your hypnotic poetry.
Best line, the cleansing after rain bit...awesome!!!

Hello, my friend. Wow! What a great presentation this is from beginning to end. I especially liked the graphic video and these lines:

"pleasing memories made
soft pillow reassuring
moments like these paralyzing"

(I forgot your given name, my friend. didn't you used to go by "simply student" on here? Bravo! Great writing. Bob

This is excellent, Michael. I've skipped through to get the pearls to review today and this is fantastic; JJ Cale, man. Yes. Great jog, smooth as silk and truly refined effort, here - gave me chills, man. Really good. The music is and video are great add on's. I am going to study this one, my friend. Take care. Bruce.

This is another great over my head poem lol. I love the way you write and say so much, a lot of which I don't understand. You are like the great opera singers, I can't understand them but are hypnotised by their greatness and talent. Thank you for sharing.

This is really nice on the smell after the rain in New Orleans with magnolias, Nicely written in a free verse style, flows and reads great. Thanks for the share and have a wonderful day.

Dear Michael

This is superb! Magnolias are flowers of the Gods methinks. You arouse all the sense in this charming, romantic and so so sensual poem. Every word here is pure sweetness. JJ Cale is the perfect accompaniment and that beautiful array of photographic beauty. It is so refreshing to read something original and with such simplicity and elegance. Your presentation is gorgeous, so you.

Of special note:

"Magnolia
just came home

and I'm seed
sunk into the soil of Ophelia
lost in voyager lover"

"Shakespearean poetic ambrosia
enchantment reigns Queen forever
encore hungers for more"

Juxtaposing lines to open and conclude in such a sweet embrace ... I just love it:

"sweet...heaven scent
New Orleans right after it rains
everything clean"

"New Orleans right after it rains
everything clean
heaven sent...sweet"

I feel myself in New Orleans, or really anywhere Magnolia grow, the air swirling with desire and beautifully scented aromas... just that much more intense in the southern state of the USA, equally beautiful in Australia, though not quite the same ambiance that you produce here. Perfect line spacing and use of enjambment. I've enjoyed everything about this poem Michael. One of the best I've read, so refreshing. I do hope to see this selected for POM. BRAVO!!! Huge hugs - Lovi xoxox

The scent of a magnolia is poetry in itself. Well written and imaginative. I can visualize the magnolia tree just by reading your poem.

"New Orleans right after it rains..." This is such a beautiful and mysterious phrase. It calls to romance and adventures and things to remember for a long long time. Very nice the music as well. Woo!
