If you like unrelenting violence--21/2 hours of it--you would like this film. What redeems it is the fabulous photography throughout of wilderness. Thank you for reviewing and your best wishes.

Hi yes certainly the viewer would be devastated. Revenge though is a bit farfetched. A bear is an animal and kills for living. As far as it is concerned, it has committed no crime..
The writing is indeed strong, and spills a lot of anger....but..wrong to think of revenge.

Hi Benny. I am guessing you have not seen the movie so viewer alert. Hugh Glass, our hero, was with two other mountain men when he was mauled. They left him to die. He didn't and . . . Thank you for the kind praise.
